Now is the time to start thinking about your business goals for 2019. Yes, I said business goals, because your marketing plan begins with that. A surprising amount of small businesses haven't actually given much thought to their business goals. You know you want to make money. You know you need to keep the lights on, make payroll (if you're big enough for that already), keep your clients happy, etc. But what do we really want to accomplish? Are we on expansion mode? Market penetration mode? Are we on new product development this year? Are we just trying to figure out how to really reach our target audience for the first time? Start here.
